She also advises applying the "same principle" of doing "something unexpected" during your event even if you are tight for cash.

Two ounces of vodka, standard Russian Half an ounce of maple syrup two ounces of lemon juice One ounce of ginger beer One new fig


In a shaker, muddle the fruit and syrup; then, squeeze in the Russian Standard Vodka and lemon juice. Shake well after adding the ice. Pour into a glass, then pour ginger beer on top. Add a fig slice as a garnish.
