Best blueberry cake ever - don't miss this
the components
1 box white cake mix
3 tablespoons plain flour
1 (3 oz) box strawberry jelly
1/2 cup water
3/4 cup oil, I used canola oil
2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries (1 cup for the cake and 1 cup for the icing)
4 eggs
directions
Combine cake mix, flour, jello, and water. Add the oil and eggs, one at a time, beating well in between. Add strawberries. Beat for two minutes. Pour the batter into a well-greased and floured 9×13 pan. Bake at 350* for about 45 minutes.
Cream Cheese Sundae: Adapted from Paula Deen's online recipe
1 stick light butter
18 oz. pkg. Cream cheese, softened
1 cup frozen or pure fresh strawberries
3 cups powdered sugar
Add all ingredients to a mixing bowl and blend with a blender until creamy. Pour over the cake after it has cooled from the oven. Add strawberries to the top for garnish or pure strawberries to top. Eat and enjoy!
